On-loan at Saints winger Glenn Middleton has said that he would be willing to extend his stay in Perth beyond this season. The 21 year old, who is contracted to Rangers until summer 2023 has played 7 times for Saints since his January loan move.
His most notable St. Johnstone moment so far was his goal against Ross County, the 86th minute winner coincided with a late Hamilton equaliser against St. Mirren, therefore securing an 8th top 6 finish in 10 years for Saints.

This has been Middleton's most successful loan move so far, with spells at Hibernian and Bradford coming to little, with the forward struggling for game time and form, his time in England being disrupted by the pandemic. He has had a decent amount of playing time in Perth so far and started last Saturday's narrow defeat at home to Aberdeen.
Middleton is highly rated in Glasgow and adds much needed pace to our front line, his agility and sheer speed has proved an excellent out for Davidson's side and he has provided a much needed spark in some previously flat games.
Middleton himself recently said in an interview "I can't look too far ahead. For me just now, it's about trying to play in every game for St. Johnstone and making an impact for St. Johnstone".
"I am under contract at Rangers and that means they are in control of the situation moving forward. I've no idea what the summer holds for me in terms of going into next season. But if there is an opportunity to come back to saints then I'd seriously look at it because I have really enjoyed my time here".
"It's a great football club and the people in every department are top class There is a great deal of belief in this squad. We are desperate to win every game. The squad made me feel welcome from the first moment I walked into the dressing room"

What do you think about this? Personally I would love to see Glenn extend his stay as he is a young talented player.
