St. Johnstone goalkeeper Zander Clark may be ruled out for the Semi-Final clash for the Scottish Cup against St. Mirren. It has been said by Callum Davidson that Clark was injured during Sundays celebrations after the unlikely victory over Rangers.
It is reported that Clark got stood on during Sunday's after party and his toe was injured. Him being out for Saturdays fixture against St. Mirren is seeming more likely as he was left out of today's triumphant squad at Easter Road, with cult hero Elliot Parish getting the nod.
Callum is quoted as saying “I think he got himself involved in the celebrations and someone stood on his big toe. Hopefully it’s not too bad. We will need to see how it settles down next week."
The injury doesn't appear to be too bad so hopefully he will be back fit to play on Sunday. This is a crucial game for Saints and we would be a lot more confident with our starting keeper in net.
