St. Johnstone boss Callum Davidson has revealed that Saints' first choice goalkeeper and Cup hero Zander Clark will be fit to play on Sunday. The 28 year-old was previously a doubt for the Scottish Cup Semi-Final clash against St. Mirren, even missing Saturday's win over Hibernian in Edinburgh.
Although Elliot Parish is a capable deputy, catching the eye of many fans following his standout performance in net on Saturday, Clark is certainly our first choice keeper and it is a massive boost to have him back in the side.
Clark injured his toe during the celebrations following St. Johnstone's unlikely penalty shootout victory over Rangers at Ibrox, with his performance earning him SPFL TOTW star man and a place in the hearts of St. Johnstone fans for eternity.
Callum Davidson confirmed the news on the 5th of May when he said: "Zander is good. The toe injury has cleared up so that is a positive for Sunday. As good as Elliott Parish was against Hibs, it’s good to have Zander back."

Positive news for sure and having Zander back is great news and gives us the best possible chance of winning if we have our strongest players available.
He also confirmed the fears of St. Johnstone fans regarding Scott Tanser's late injury in the match against Rangers, saying that: “After I saw his ankle and how swollen it was, I was actually quite pleased with the scan result. He will be there or thereabouts for the pre-season of his comeback.”

This confirms that Tanser will miss the remainder of the season.
