Today St. Johnstone confirmed the permanent signing of midfielder Cammy MacPherson from St. Mirren, for an undisclosed fee. He joins until the summer of 2024
The midfielder had been on loan in Perth until he signed a pre-contract agreement with Saints, leading to St. Mirren manager Jim Goodwin recalling the midfielder as he wanted his side to receive a fee for the player.
St. Johnstone has met the 'Buddies' valuation and it is expected that MacPherson will be right into the squad for Wednesday's basement battle with Dundee.
MacPherson has had a mixed spell with Saints so far at a time where very few players have covered themselves in glory. He was the key performer in last week's 2-0 defeat to Heart of Midlothian and should nail a place down in the side.

Cammy is a decent player, he is still only 22 and offers energy in the middle of the park - something that Saints are sorely lacking at the moment.
